HSS designed and constructed this three storey home with sweeping views of the Bow Valley’s iconic peaks. There is no connection to the gas grid, and the home’s heating and cooling is run on with a geothermal well and ground source heat pump, and solar panels produce on site electricity. This home also features continuous external insulation and high performance windows, as well as excellent air tightness. The home features luxurious custom elements including a feature staircase and accompanying hanging light fixture, a wooden slat ceiling in the living room, and feature fireplace. The home is complete with a two bedroom accessory dwelling unit.
